Dagupan City, June 10, 2021 — Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade and City Mayor Brian Lim, and officials from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) graced the turnover of PUV’s to various transport cooperatives.  Included in this ceremony are five (5) Fuso Canter Commute Class II Modern PUVs of Bonuan Transport Services Inc. (BTSI) which was acquired from Motorplaza Inc., one of FUSO’s dealers in the region.

BTSI officially sent the FUSO Canter Commute Modern PUV on the roads of Dagupan City on June 10, Thursday, in compliance with DOTr’s PUV Modernization Program. With its reliable quality, equipped with air-conditioning system, television, free WiFi, as well as the requirements for safety protocols, Dagupeños are ensured of a safe and comfortable ride around the city.

  • The Fuso Canter’s 4-way steering wheel adjustment capability – tilt up, tilt down, push down, and pull up (tilt and telescopic adjustments) allows the driver to achieve the perfect driving position.
  • It is the only one in its class to offer an in-dash gear shifter for more effortless gear shifting.
  • Adding to the comfort of all passengers are the front and rear double acting hydraulic and telescopic shock absorbers for a smooth The Fuso Canter’s 4-way steering wheel adjustment capability – tilt up, tilt down, push down, and pull up (tilt and telescopic adjustments) allows the driver to achieve the perfect driving position.
  • Dual air-conditioning system is standard for the comfort of all passengers. The rear air-conditioning has overhead A/C vents running the whole length of the passenger cabin.
  • The Fuso Canter Commute fits 30 people – 2 in front plus the driver and 17 in side-facing seats (similar to traditional jeepney seats) at the back while still accommodating 10 more standing passengers.
  • This PUV model from Fuso is based on the Canter model, they are cab-tilting for an easier access to the engine bay resulting to easier maintenance. Furthermore, the Fuso Canter models now have a 10,000 km Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) interval for less downtime and more savings.

FUSO Philippines Stages the First Online Sales Competition

November 13, 2020 – Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP), the official distributor of FUSO trucks and buses in the Philippines—kicked off its very first online sales competition entitled, “Fuso RISE 2020: The Search for the Most Resilient and Innovative Sales Executive of the Year”, held via Zoom, hosted by Miss World Philippines 2013 2nd Runner-up and Miss Earth Philippines Air 2018, Zahra Saldua. It would serve as the 1st leg of what would now be a yearly event that would promote the sales competencies of the performing Sales Executives of Fuso. The competition aimed to foster skills, to improve customer satisfaction and the company’s performance in navigating the new normal.

To qualify for the competition, nominated sales executives must have at least achieved a certain level of sales within the period of 2020. One sales executive was nominated per dealer group—resulting in a total of 16 Sales Executives from dealers nationwide.

On Day 1, the preliminaries—there are nominees chosen to show their skills and knowledge regarding Truck Fundamentals and Fuso Products through an online examination. The top 10 candidates of the preliminaries moved to the final round the following week, November 20, 2020.

The finalists competed through a role-play competition to test their “new normal” customer service skills. Finally, a Question and Answer took place to measure their creativity to sell themselves as the most resilient and innovative sales executive of the year.

The top three winners received a cash prize, while the Champion from Carworld Fuso Pampanga got a plaque of recognition as the Most Resilient and Innovative Fuso Sales Executive of 2020.

Pampanga Based Chemical Manufacturing Company is First All-New FUSO Super Great Customer

Pampanga, June 20, 2020 – Philko Silicate Corporation (PSC), a chemical manufacturing company based in Mabalacat, Pampanga, is the first customer of Fuso’s latest offering, the Super Great Truck Tractor in 4×2 45-tonner Gross Combination Weight (GCW) variant. Purchased through Carworld Fuso Pampanga, Inc. (FPI), PSC will be using the aforementioned unit for the delivery of its products as well as raw materials for their production plant.

Philko Silicate Corporation, a subsidiary of Trust Paper Corporation (TIPCO), is one of the major producers of Liquid Sodium Silicate which are applied to the production process of commodities such as detergents, ceramics, paints, adhesives, water treatment, and etc. PSC was given a Certificate of Registration as an Ecozone Export Enterprise last January 29, 2003. Currently, it operates as a local manufacturing company.

Present during the vehicle release was Carworld Group President, Mrs. Rose C. Alcazar, FPI Branch Manager, Mr. Joeffrey O. Lacaba, FPI Service Manager, Mr. Herleth Kabiling, and Mr. Giovanni Guzon. PSC Logistics Department Head.

The facility boasts a lot area of roughly 2,000 square meters that includes a full-size showroom as well as five (5) work bays. South Cotabato, September 25, 2019 – DOLE Philippines, Incorporated (Dolefil) one of the world’s largest producers and sellers of high-quality fresh fruits recently purchased a fleet of Fuso’s Heavy-Duty Model, FJ 2528C. Dole Philippines, Incorporated is a leader in growing, sourcing, packing, shipping, distributing and marketing of fresh fruits throughout the country. Dolefil operates a fully integrated plantation and industrial facility in Polomolok, South Cotabato in Mindanao, for the production of fresh and processed pineapple for the export market. It also has operations in General Santos City, Municipality of Surallah in South Cotabato, and in the Municipalities of Maramag and Talakag in Bukidnon.

As a sign of Dole Philippines, Inc. and Fuso Philippines’ long-term partnership, a turn-over ceremony was done at Dole Philippines’ plant at South Cotabato. Present during the ceremony were Mindanao Integrated Commercial Enterprises, Inc. (MICEI) President, Mr. Nireo Placido Regollo, Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) President & CEO, Mr. Takatsugu Nitanai, Dole Philippines, Inc. Manager for Agri Equipment Maintenance Department, Mr. Raul Tangarorang, SFP Manager for Market & Product Planning Department, Mr. John Michael Ignacio, and MICEI Vice President for Overall Operations, Mr. Russel Regollo.
