Manila, Philippines – Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP), the general distributor of MITSUBISHI FUSO commercial vehicles in the Philippines, participated in the 1st Philippine International Truck Show (PITS), held at Hall 1 of the SMX Convention Center Manila.
With the theme “Reliable Mobility since the 1960s,” SFP proudly reintroduced the MITSUBISHI FUSO Three-Diamond logo, showcased its staple model, the Canter diesel-powered light-duty truck in its FE73 14-ft. loading span variant, and launched the eCanter in the same trim as its internal combustion counterpart.

At the center of SFP’s exhibition was the MITSUBISHI FUSO Three-Diamond logo, which served as a defining visual element throughout the booth. More than a symbol of MITSUBISHI FUSO’s heritage, the Three-Diamond logo provides a visual bridge between the brand’s legacy and its direction toward the future of commercial mobility.
The logo connects the vehicles on display, representing different chapters of the brand’s journey: the FUSO Canter, a name synonymous with dependable light-duty trucks, and the eCanter, MITSUBISHI FUSO’s electric light-duty truck designed to meet the evolving demands of businesses.
The Canter represents decades of commitment to delivering reliable and dependable transportation solutions for small-, medium-, and large-scale operations. Since its global introduction in 1963, the Canter has continued to evolve alongside the needs of customers, establishing itself as one of MITSUBISHI FUSO’s most recognizable truck nameplates.
The eCanter, on the other hand, showcases MITSUBISHI FUSO’s direction toward electric commercial mobility. Building on the Canter’s established legacy, the eCanter demonstrates how the familiar strengths of a trusted truck can evolve to adapt by the ever-changing demands of commerce and transportation.

“Here at our booth, we are bringing together two important chapters of the MITSUBISHI FUSO story. The FUSO Canter as a long-standing legacy in the light-duty truck segment, and the eCanter, reflecting our direction toward a more sustainable and electrified future. These two vehicles may represent different points in our journey, but they share the same purpose: to support our Filipino customers and help their businesses move forward.” said Mr. Yosuke Nishi, President & CEO, Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation.
At PITS, SFP brought this story together in one exhibition; the Canter representing where MITSUBISHI FUSO has been, the eCanter representing where it is heading, and the Three-Diamond logo connecting the two.
Through this exhibition, SFP invites customers, partners, industry stakeholders, and truck enthusiasts to experience MITSUBISHI FUSO’s heritage and future of commercial mobility up close.
