Cagayan de Oro City – On September 30, a total of ten (10) additional units of FUSO Canter Commute (Class 2) Modern PUV were successfully turned over to the valued partners of PN Roa Canitoan Transport Cooperative (PONTRANSCO) by Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) and Fast Autoworld Philippines Corporation (FAPC) – FUSO Cagayan de Oro.
In 2021, PONTRANSCO has initially acquired FUSO Class 2 Modern PUV as they made their move to the PUV modernization. Their choice has always been FUSO vehicle due to its proven reliability and performance. The partnership developed a shared commitment to provide durable, comfortable, and safe transport solutions. This dedication ensures that commuters receive the best transportation experience and satisfaction while also delivering success to both businesses.

PONTRANSCO officially sent the FUSO Canter Commute Modern PUVs on the road of Bayabas (R1) and Cogon Market in Cagayan de Oro City. PONTRANSCO Manager, Ms. Luzminda Escobidal said the Barangay Bayabas-to-Cogon Public Market route is their second after the PN Roa Calaanan-Relocation-Cogon Public Market and vice versa.
With its reliable quality, the Class 2 public utility vehicles can fit 20 people in side-facing seats while still accommodating 10 more standing passengers. Comfort-wise, it is equipped with air-conditioning vents that are mounted overhead to give the interior an equal distribution of airflow.
FUSO Modern PUV is also compliant based on the requirements set by the Philippine National Standards (PNS 2126:2017), not only ensuring customer’s safety but also simultaneously making commuting more convenient.
