AP Cargo Expands its Fleet with New FUSO Trucks

Pasay City, Philippines – AP Cargo, one of the leading logistics service providers in the Philippines, has successfully increased its fleet with the recent turnover of an additional five (5) FUSO Canter FE73 units from Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) through its dealer partner, Christian General Motors Inc. (CGMI) – FUSO Tarlac last February 27, 2025. This milestone underscore AP Cargo’s continued investment in fleet expansion which aims to meet the growing demand of Filipino customers nationwide. FUSO Philippines turns over 27 new Canter FE73 units to Burgos, Ilocos Sur LGU

Burgos, Ilocos Sur – In a significant event held at the Burgos Municipal Hall last February 15, 2025, Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP), through its dealer partner, HMEN Motors – FUSO Pangasinan proudly turned over a fleet of twenty-seven (27) FUSO Canter FE73 Drop-side units to the local government unit (LGU) of Burgos, Ilocos Sur. This turnover was part of the Farmer’s Day celebration, an annual festival event dedicated in honoring the farmers of Burgos for their invaluable contributions to the agriculture and economy of Ilocos Sur and the Philippines.

The 27 FUSO Canter FE73 Drop-side units will be distributed to each of Burgos’ 26 barangays, with the remaining unit allocated for municipal use. These vehicles are essential for supporting each barangay’s agricultural activities, providing farmers with the means of transporting their goods efficiently and enhancing the region’s overall productivity.

The FUSO Canter is known for its durability, reliability, and versatility, making it ideal for the agricultural sector. With its gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 4,490 kg., the vehicle ensures that the farmers of Burgos can transport their produce, materials and equipment with ease. It is also powered by a 4P10- WAT2 Common Rail Turbocharged Intercooled Diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 131 PS and a torque of 350 N-m, ideal for transporting agricultural products such as rice, vegetables and other produce.

The installed drop-side bodies which passed FUSO’s truck body standards will further enhance the vehicle’s ability to hold out against the heavy demands of the daily farmer’s operations. It is a versatile and practical solution for the farming community of Burgos.

Moving Forward: FUSO Philippines holds 2024 National Dealer Conference

Manila, Philippines – Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) recognized the outstanding performance of its dealer partners at the recent 2024 National Dealer Conference, held in Okada Manila, Paranaque City, on November 15, 2024. The conference brought together its network of dealers for a day of celebration, collaboration, and recognition. The annual event was a testament to FUSO’s unwavering commitment to stronger partnerships and growth in the commercial vehicle industry.

With this year’s theme, “Moving Forward”, the conference served as a platform for SFP to showcase its accomplishments, share strategic directions, and express gratitude to its dealer network who have contributed to FUSO’s milestones.

FUSO Philippines continues to demonstrate its strength in the truck and bus industry, achieving an impressive 30.7% sales growth covering January 2024 to October 2024 compared to the same period last year. This milestone reinforces FUSO’s position as a key player in the commercial vehicle segment.

While other market leaders experienced a decline in market share, FUSO Philippines has gone beyond the trend, showcasing steady growth and a strong commitment to meeting its customer needs. FUSO’s focus on delivering reliable, efficient and durable commercial vehicles in the Philippine market has driven this sustained improvement in market standing.

It also emphasized SFP’s recent stellar achievement during the RC SEA Awards 2024, pulling off three (3) awards that underscore FUSO Philippines’ outstanding performance across multiple dimensions of business operations, leadership in innovation, customer-centric solutions, and retail excellence across Southeast Asia.

SFP received three (3) distinguished awards: Elite Class Southeast Asia (Silver Winner), Best CSP Product Innovation Award and Retail Sales Excellence Award.
