Tarlac City, June 24, 2021 – A total of thirty-five (35) FUSO Canter Commute Class II Modern PUVs were turned over to Tarlac City-based Murcia-Tarlac–Capas-Bamban Transport Service Cooperative (MTCB TSC) by Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) and Best Southern Genesis Motors Incorporated – Fuso Kawit (BFK). The fleet formed a long caravan along major highways in the Metro traveling from Kawit, Cavite, as they showcase the reliability and strong performance of FUSO Modern PUVs on the road.
On June 24, Thursday, was the official launch of the Modern PUVs. Mr. Noriyuki Sekita, Executive Vice President of SFP, stated, “We are truly proud to share with you the strength, capability, and reliability of the FUSO Canter Commute PUV. This Modern PUV is compliant with the Philippine National Standards. We are confident that this fleet will serve the Tarlaqueños with the best of its quality. With this model passing FUSO’s International Standards, we assure you of an environment-friendly fleet that boasts safety and comfort for both the citizens and its drivers.” SFP and Fuso Kawit ensured MTCB TSC that these units will serve their purpose in transporting Tarlaqueños around the city with a guaranteed safe, dependable, and comfortable ride.
Present also in the ceremony is Ms. Susan Yap, Governor of Tarlac Province, Honorable Jose Antonio Feliciano, Mayor of Bamban, Honorable Andy Lacson, Mayor of Concepcion, Honorable Reynaldo Catacutan, Mayor of Capas, Honorable Cristy Angeles, Mayor of Tarlac City, Mr. Rogelio Y. Cura, MTCB TSC’s Chairman, as well as representatives from Department of Transportation, local government units, BSGMI and SFP. It was held at MTCB TSC’s Terminal Compound, in Brgy. San Nicolas, Bamban, Tarlac.
